Remember when he had the nerve to have that as a goal and didn't mention NOLA? Still no mention of NOLA

Stupid health plan that taxes middle America and helps almost no one

energy conservation that should have been in place for the last 20 years except that the Republicans blocked all efforts to do these same things

Weird Civilian Reserve Corps with absolutely no explanation

Give War a Chance

So, remind me - exactly what were people jumping up and applauding?

2. How about that National Dating Service
I mean, he was all gung-ho for marriage and families. The least the bastard could do would be to hook me up with somebody single and cute.

3. and I guess we won the war on baseball steroids.

I thought I could watch it. I couldn't. I'm not proud of this, but I just couldn't stomach hearing people clapping for him. I'm not saying anything about the people who clapped. I just didn't have the stomach for it.

5. If the blivet doesn't mention it in his speech, it's "Mission Accomplished."
Steroids in sports? No mention, so the problem has been solved.
Post-Katrina Gulf Coast? No mention, so everything has been rebuilt and the area is back 100%.
Mission to Mars? No mention, so we must already have astronauts exploring the red planet's surface.

Out of sight, out of his empty mind.

8. We could send him there next week!
But we'd have to dehydrate him first to save weight and space-- totaly dry him out.

That would be a first for Bush.

What he described makes no sense at all. His head is so far up his ass, all he sees is brown.

11. I'm a fan of the space program...
However, I still think our pResident is insane pushing a MANNED mission to Mars. What people don't realize is that the space program is one of the most underfunded programs we have, unfortunately, almost EVERY other program is just as underfunded, except the Pentagon, of course.

We need to rework the budget, then distribute the money in a responsible manner, let's say, like this:

10% to pay down national debt.

20% for single payer universal health care, HHS.

10% for defense

20% for education

20% for regulatory bodies

20% for scientific research, including NASA.

In addition to this, we need to repeal the Bush tax cuts, then double the taxes on the top 10% of earners in this country, and renegotiate our trade agreements with other nations to create SUSTAINABLE growth in our economy. Do all this and we can have a balanced budget in a few decades, at most, and be able to take care of our citizens properly.
