Will Colin Powell have a position in the next Dem WH?

A blind fool of a man, also family member, thinks that I'm an idiot for being a democrat and not liking Colon Bowel. Because according to him, Dems love Powell and he will get some position in the next Democrat cabinet.

I just don't see this happening. Am I wrong? Dip shit lied to the rest of the world while he was representing the USA on the largest political stage! Of course I don't need to tell you guys that.

It's just that I get nervous thinking about it. So...please put me at ease.

8. General Powell had his shot as Secretary-of-State Powell to

right a wrong he knew would be a terrible mistake. His speech to the United Nations about mobile weapons labs etc. was unpardonable. He knew better than to do what he did and he did it anyway.

There are way too many talented Democrats who deserve roles in the next Democratic White House to even put Colin Powell on a list.

I am saying that not because I like him or think his views are correct; HOWEVER, I think it is very important to, at the very least, be given different perspectives on an issue.

Banning members of the other party from your decision making process is what got us in this mess in the first place and I think it is important to have representatives of a different point of view to either force you to question your own OR reinforce your belief... because if your position can't stand up to scrutiny, you should probably reconsider your position.

When a babysitter screws it up this bad, you don't hire them again. Powell is mostly an honorable man. Given an honorable president, he could have gone down in the history books as one of our greatest diplomats. After all, he did arrive on the scene just at the right moment, 2001, when we needed a strong international leader to unite the world in the cause of fighting terrorism.

But Powell instead kowtowed to a corrupt and demogogic charletan of a president. Politically he is useless, now. He is discredited and he'll never get his "hour upon the stage" back. Good riddance to the mediocre.

as far as government is concerned. At one time, before the Pretender stole office, some Dems DID like him. No more. He had his shot and flubbed it.

I used to, not exactly like, but respect Powell. His speech before the U.N. was the end of that. He KNOWINGLY lied, and now we're in Iraq.
