Q: What's the roadmap from Libby trial to WH charges?
Fitzgerald's brilliant prosecutorial strategy is showing itself to be a pincer movement aimed directly at the WH: the prosecution is fingering Cheney and the OVP while the defense implicates Rove and the WHIG.

What are the steps going to be along the path from damning revelations to actual charges being brought against Cheney et.al.?

Does Cheney get caught in perjury, suborning perjury, or OOJ? Do people from the WHIG or OSP get subpoenaed to testify at the Libby trial to answer allegations? Can Fitz issue additional indictments in the middle of the trial or wait until it's over? Or would Judge Walton issue them? Or the FBI? Do we have to wait for Congress to start an investigation?

Inquiring minds want to know.

1. Depends on the Pretzel-dent

If the Coward and Chief does not pull a 'fast one' and pardon someone and if those who have ears will pay attention there will be a tipping point. That is exactly what happen during the Nixon downfall. Remember Agnew resigned and was indicted. Ford was appointed then Nixon resigned and Ford pardoned him.

This looks like a snowball about to roll downhill and gather the dirt along the way with no one able to stop it.

Everyone needs to call their representative and remind them that there is a trial going on. Most Senators and Congressmen and women are self absorbed beings. Most will only pay attention to what impacts them directly. Some of them want to leave this alone because the alternative may be Jeb replacing Dick then Gulianni or etc. etc.(get the picture?) You will have in place the next Repuke-again candidate with a bully-pulpit to run for office.

I think the jerks should be kicked out of office NOW!
People have to rise up and protest. Contact their representative. Go to Washington and march this weekend!

2. I think the main thing to realize...
...is that they have started an illegal war-knowing that, the rest is window dressing. We may have to wait for the "long historical view", but unless the top of our government fails to achieve the lifespan predicted in actuarial tables they WILL face a world court, Cheney exempted (though not neccesarily safe from some judgement).Local and short term results, as I see them will be for neither the president nor the vp to finish their terms and both to be vilified and repudiated here and in the rest of the world. As a blue sky kind of guy, I believe that we will lance the boil of 60 years of secrecy and come to realize what our "shadow government" has done to our ideals and for the class war...but that's just me and my desire for the balance of my lifetime....
