Do we have a plan? (Iraq)

I was getting beat today over the the idea that the Democratic party doesn't have a plan for Iraq.

Can someone point me to something solid from the party on the Democratic direction for the Iraq war?

1. There are many plans and many are great , but the best plan will be

worked once the untampered intelligence can be gathered and reviewed by honest brokers. BushCo has twisted the reality of the situation and corrupted our resources and severed our integrity in the world so that the development of the best plan is next to impossible from outside the White House.

Still the Democratic party has a direction that will certainly bring into line the correct treatment and support of our military. We have resources within our party and with our friends, still hopeful, that we can turn the US back to world civility. We still have the dream that justice will still shine from our shores.

Obama's latest: "I not only favor capping the number U.S. troops in Iraq, but believe it's imperative that we begin the phased redeployment I called for two months ago, and intend to introduce legislation that does just that."

Biden said a "troop surge" will not work.
"We should be drawing down troops gradually, forcing the Iraqis to meet their own needs to end this civil war by a political agreement," Biden said Tuesday on CNN's "American Morning."

Biden has said he favors partitioning Iraq, something the Iraq Study Group and military leaders oppose.

Bush and Iraq Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki have said they agree that Iraq should not be partitioned along sectarian lines into semi-autonomous regions for the Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites.
