Orders to shoot to kill any suspected Iranian agents in Iraq? |
|
Did I just hear that on CNN? Someone please tell me I didn't get the whole story. Good grief, **** is taking us to the depths of hell. Just found it on CNN.com. It is permission to shoot any suspected Iranian agents plotting against us in Iraq. Seems he authorized it a couple of months ago. And how will we prove they are agents if we just shoot them without question?

1. But, he's the "decider" and he "decides" we get to shoot them. |

2. Do they need to silence their man Chalabi? Cheney must be nervous |

Don't even want to pretend to have a trial?
Cleaning up loose ends with bullets. Isn't that a sign that the chopper is about to take off from the roof?

3. Actually, like all Bushco statements... |
|
...you have to figure out what it means-not what it says. The actual statement is "kill or capture".Now we KNOW the troops can't tell an Iraqi from an Iranian by looking at them, and we KNOW they have not hesitated to shoot at any threat. So parsing the statement we realize the important part is "capture".Bush is stating that when we capture Iranians no matter what their status we intend to Gitmoize them indefinitely.Iran will of course have to respond to the rendition of their nationals. One more Bushco poke towards the conflict they are insisting on.....
