Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Silly, but OH so true.
As we begin to exercise our newly won power in the Congress, a lot of Republics are hitching their little red wagons to our steam engine.
Chuck Hagel is a good example. Just spittin' mad about the war and the ones who got us there.
Oh really? How did you vote for all the enablement, Chuck? There's rubber stamp ink all over your hands, buddy. You're part of the fucking PROBLEM.
Sure, the 'shoe salesman' line was a good one. A damned good one. Noteworthy and newsworthy. He deserved the kudos he got, even here on DU - including some from me - for that line.
But let's never lose sight of who these people are. They're the same ones who enabled the madman at the helm to do whatever the fuck he wanted.
For a good speech or a righteous vote now, we are okay to thank them.
But we should never lose sight of the fact: They ARE part of the PROBLEM.
