If a republican were to win in 2008 (horrors), who would be the least toxic?

At this point, anyone with two brain cells regardless of party would be better than bush. But since there is a small possibility that a republic might win, who in your opinion would do the least damage? Hagel? Gulliani? McCain? Lieberman? Someone else?

who would have any sort of realistic shot. I would find Lincoln Chafee to me more palatable than some of the Democrats who are running, but he's got about as much of a chance as I do at winning the GOP nomination. :)
