He is my favorite member of Congress (and I don't even live in Michigan!). Conyers is the quintessential statesman, a man of extraordinary wisdom, intelligence, courage, passion, and integrity. An amazing human being. I wish he had the opportunity to run for president, it's not practical at his age but he could have been an extraordinary Commander-in-Chief.
