The Enemy With-in Travels Out to Iraq

The tree-hugging party are heading to Iraq on a fact-finding mission:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has traveled to Iraq for a quick fact-finding visit that will include a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

The congressional delegation traveling with the Democratic speaker from San Francisco includes Rep. Tom Lantos, D-San Mateo, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Ike Skelton, D-Mo., chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, and Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., who more than a year ago urged President Bush to withdraw American forces from Iraq and is chairman of the appropriations subcommittee that oversees the military budget.

The delegation is scheduled to return to Washington on Monday.

Hillary went to Iraq last week. Nancy went to Iraq this week.

Why do I not feel more secure?

Not to sound macabre but could we hope for a missle?

could we hope for a missile?

As if a missile could have any impact on that complex blend of copolymers and Kevlar. Our tanks should carry as much armor!

What a Phoney Grandstand play:

I repeat that we don’t have any need to declaim about these comics.Leave them alone and they will destroy themselves.

Just stay on them and their promises explicit or implied and you won’t have any trouble beating them next time around.

They won’t find out anything new as we know the substance of the problem in Iraq and what to do or not to do about it.

They are typical RE’s, they don’t know they don’t know

Straight ahead

They will find what they WANT to find. They always do. Politicians listen only to those who tell them want they want to hear.

Liberalism is a mental disease

Comment by IP727 | 1/26/2007 - 5:06 pm

Do they even have a clue as to what they will be looking for?

Don’t the troops get irritated by this…stupid people probing into things they don’t have a clue about?

Murtha might be in danger of a friendly fire incident.

“Liberalism is a mental disease”

Well, if THIS is the disease…

then is THIS the cure?

It might be, if it were one of those Hannibal masks from Silence of the lambs

Speaking of the enemy within, have you read New Trend On The Rise: The Patriotic Terrorist over at HuffPo (which I go to about once a year, therefore, HT:LGF).

It’s skewering with a smile.

They all brought their best white underwear to wave.

Comment by charlotte | Email | 1/26/2007 - 6:53 pm

Hey, I’m all for this. It’s even possible a fact might rise up and bite them.

They bought it, now they own it.

I thought they had all the ‘facts’ when they pronounced the war in Iraq a ‘failure’.

I thought Murtha had all the ‘facts’ when he pronounced our Marines bloodthirsty murderers before an investigation had even been completed.

I’ll bet it was a republican that flew them there, and a bunch of republican voters that showed them around. LOL!

Comment by Wally Lind | Email | 1/26/2007 - 11:49 pm

Yes…Nancy went “to see the war for herself". I’m sure she’ll get an eyefull within the protection of the green zone. She must not watch much media coverage over here. This is beyond hilarious. Just a photo-op like Hillary and the rest of them.

Our soldiers could do us a huge favor and either let the terrorists take care of this pile of human excrement,or perhaps, a little friendly fire could do the job.

Not to be too morbid, but,I really would celebrate the deaths of these traitors. The terrorists really have no hope of defeating the United States without the help of a Democrat majority, which in my mind,MAKES THEM THE ENEMY!

1. Nice. Calling for the deaths of elected U.S. officials.
Makes you wonder why these posters aren't already over there to do the friendly firing on their own. Seriously, these people are absolute scum and a disgrace to the American ideal.
