I just received one forwarded many times but ultimately from one "Cmdr. Hamilton McWhorter, U.S.N. (retired) ". He says Sen. Clinton was the only Senator to refuse to meet with Gold Star Mothers. Would you like to read the whole thing?

Does anyone know if this person exists and what his credentials/history are, and any validity to his claim?

If this is the one that has been going around for years, it's just right wing bullshit. There was a Gold Star Mothers visit to Washington, D.C., where they made appointments to visit some U.S. Senators. Senator Clinton was not one of the ones they made appointments with, after their appointments, they went to see some of the other Senators. When they went to Senator Clinton's office, they found she was out of town on a trip. I think they talked to some of the Senators staff, but she didn't, because she was away. Some have left that fact out to make it look like Senator Clinton was intentionally ignoring grieving mothers.
