I can't believe someone from the White House Press Co(rp) has finally asked about the repeated slur used by Bush in calling the Democratic Party the "Democrat" Party.

Enough is enough and their feeble acts of denial do not dent the vast number of occasions this president, his cronies, and Republic(ans) in the past have utilized the slur without being called out for their slander.

Emphasis on the "CON" part. Yes, Virginia. A deliberate mispronunciation. They can fuck with MY party's name? FINE. Then I'm gonna fuck with THEIRS. Yes. It certainly does sound childish. I'm the first to admit it. But sometimes, to get through to children, I've found that it helps to speak to them at their level and using their language. They're not doctoral dissertation writers yet, after all.

BTW - it appears the reporter who asked was CBS's Mark Knoller, a former AP radio colleague. He wrote about it and added a mea culpa - because he himself had used it in his reporting. HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF!!!
