Senate tries again to pass minimum wage bill.
Last week the Senate tried to pass the minimum wage bill and it was blocked by Senate Republicans. Only 55 Senators would vote for closure so it could be voted on.

I just spoke to my Senator's office (Voinovich) and was told that another cloture vote was scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday) around noon.

If you have a republican Senator, perhaps you can call and see where he/she stands and inform the good Senator that you support this bill as is.

1. Republicans have no problem with the fillibuster when it deprives
someone of their rights.
