So now Bush says........
Edited on Tue Jan-30-07 05:55 PM by butlerd
I was listening to the radio this afternoon and heard a soundbite from "Fearless Leader" and he remarked that he thought that the economy is strong but that we're at war and that war is "unsettling" for a lot of people (jeeeeez!!!!! You think????!!!!). :argh: So now, according to Bush our economy is not doing well because we're "at war" (apparently the 9/11 excuse has outlived its worthiness)? Evidently, however, Bush seems to feel no inclination whatsoever towards ENDING our "war" in Iraq but rather has "decided" to send MORE troops to Iraq and simultaneously appears to be nudging us closer to some kind of armed confrontation with Iran. Boy, if he thinks that the economy is not doing well now because the general public is "unsettled" about the "war" in Iraq, I can't imagine how "unsettled" we all will feel once we attack Iran and the entire Middle East goes up in flames. :nuke:

1. But, but, but...
World War II helped bring us out of the Great Depression, so imagine how great World War III would be for our economy! :sarcasm:

6. I believe the economy is strong. But the modern day robber barons
have taken all of the new wealth for themselves.
