Obama's Feb 10th announcement: did he sandwich Hillary?
By creating his "double announcement," i.e. the exploratory committee announcement 2 weeks ago and the official announcement on Feb 10th (following the Bears' superbowl win!), he has effectively sandwiched, and perhaps blunted, any lasting momentum Hillary's pre-SOTU announcement may have had. His initial exploratory announcement garnered early buzz and may have pressured Hillary to announce early. However, Obama has his official Feb 10th announcement to halt the past week of Hillary 24/7.

Was this "double announcement" an intentional strategy, or am I looking into it too much?

3. Yawn....
...what a fitting word to describe H. Clinton's candidacy.

In it to win.....yawn.....Nixon won. Reagan won. Attila the Hun won. Alexander the Great won. The Iraq War Resolution won.

I guess a H Clinton candidacy will at least save us money on sleeping pills.

2. It's a long road ahead
A little less than a year from the Iowa caucus, his announcements will certainly hold him out more for the headlines, but there is still a long way to go.

Whatever exposure he gets over Mrs. Clinton at this point will be fairly meaningless nearly a year from now. However, I certainly can't wait to see what he has to say...
