Clark supporters: I'm sorry, you guys.
It's a tough day for you all, and I understand your disappointment. The General is a classy guy, and he made a classy exit!

1. It's a sad day for all Democrats
Clark is a great candidate. I don't think we've seen the last of him though thank goodness.

18. No woman "deserves" violence.
It wasn't her, anyhow, it was the CNN director.

7. I agree with you on this
I understand how the General's supporters feel. I've been there before, too.

"What doesn't kill us makes us stronger." The Democratic Party will be stronger because of Clark's campaign.

13. Nothing official yet
But I'm trying to stay out of that discussion in order to keep what's left of my sanity. :)

15. LOL! Does no one in Maine own a calculator, paper and pencil?
I could hjave counted 15000 ballots by myself between Sunday and today, I wager! Sheesh! :P

16. It's not actually a counting issue
But all campaigns are observing it so I'm not worried that things are being done fairly.

I really am trying to stay away from finding out more about it because of a role I may have to play down the road.

10. I sure would have liked to see The General go all the way to the
convention, he and his supporters would have been a force to contend with. Maybe you all still can, I hope.

11. My sympathy to ya'll too....
Clark is a good man, and I was really sorry to hear he was withdrawinng. Last night and today, I was hoping it wouldn't be true. And I am disgusted with CNN's slap in the face.

I do hope that the future holds a place in politics for Clark, and I hope it will be in the very near future.

14. "This Old Soldier Will NOT Fade Away."
Thank you, Padraig. It's been a pretty crappy 24 hours for us Wes Supporters.

:-(

I just finished downloading all the WesCam episodes from the site; I'm worried it will shut down soon, and I want to remember how much fun it was being a member of the Draft Clark movement, and then supporting Wes as a Democratic Candidate. We had a great run, and I met the most wonderful people.

Thank you, General, from the bottom of my heart, for inspiring me from the first time I really started listening to you. The last time a politician inspired me was 1988; I do hope I don't have to wait that long before it happens again.

Chin up, Clarkies!! :-) I love you all.
