8. Not judging from his voting record

Kerry has at least tried to bring up labor and environmental concerns with regards to trade. But in the end, whether or not those concerns were considered (usually not), he always voted on the side of commercial interests.

I care about people and know what I know,
But all of their shit works in O-hi-o.

Part of what worked for Clark was that he met the gay marriage non-issue head on and made it work for our side. I've not seen any other candidate handle it in nearly as good a way. Clark could have nullified this issue. I fear Edwards or Kerry will try to dodge it and end up doing more harm than good. Dean's attitude of "don't worry, I'll stop this bullet with my face" is not even a consideration.
