12. O'Neill proves he hates the US military by denegrating how they give out medals

That's always been my reason why he should be called to task.

His whole career has been based on how the Navy military review board does not review military records and just hands out Purple Hearts like they are leftover Halloween candy in a bowl.

What O'Neill does by his "assessment" is denigrate all military soldiers who received medals for valor. If some of the people he appeals to got what he does with his actions, he may not be alive at this point. By his disregard or lack of respect of the military and how they award medals, he is no better than someone who despises the military.

Hannnity, being a college dropout, hardly has any intellect to be able to understand O'Neill's real motives.

Exactly what did he threathen them with? Fox himself conceded before Kerry addressed the issue that the gist of the SBVT content was untrue and that the SBVT tried to defame him. The cost to Kerry was possibly the Presidency.

Kerry's basic questions to Fox were essentially why did you do it given that you say you think this is wrong, how could you not know they were lying by October, and do you think this should matter to me. Kerry also said that he would try to be fair.

As to not having anything to gain - for O'Neil, there was causing Kerry to lose. The Patriot group also found many of them were paid. Even if none gained anything - the fact is they lied.
