Bill Richardson stays on the move this week as he attempts to make his candidacy better-known. He has been on C-SPAN and Hardball , and you can watch all the clips over at The Blue State. (http://www.thebluestate.com/2007/02/22607_blue_poli_1.html)

Yesterday he spoke to the Latino Leaders Network (http://www.latinoleadersnetwork.org/) in Washington, DC. Washington for Richardson (Washington as in the state) took ABC's The Note to task for listing Richardson's appearance at the event as the former Governor of New Mexico. (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/TheNote/story?id=2908138&page=1) Later in the day, Richardson went to the World Pension Forum (http://www.worldpensionforum.com/home/) in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.

This weekend, watch for Big Bill to head to Iowa, where he'll be going all day trying to make some inroads in that all-important caucus state.

Political Affairs Magazine looks at Richardson's progressive credentials, or in some areas, lack thereof.

At The Mother Jones blog, Jonathan Stein writes that Richardson's points on diplomacy make sense, and opines that Richardson would make a great … Secretary of State. In an interesting comment section on the article, Stein replies to a reader who wants to know why Richardson isn't being taken seriously that, "There are rumors out there that Richardson has a LOT of skeletons in his closet, both personal and professional."

Elsewhere in ABC's The Note, ABC News' Paul Fidalgo writes up Gov. Richardson's comments on what being the last governor in the race for the Democratic nomination means to him.

7. I'm not sure that "the more the merrier" is good for the debates. I think the debates would be
a lot more informative and revealing with fewer candidates, say Clinton, Edwards, Obama, and Kucinich (who will not drop out). In order to have a good debate, there'd probably only be room for maybe one more (Richardson, Clark, Gore), just so long as it's not Joe Biden, who would rather just hear himself talking than to say anything to convince someone to vote for him.

8. The debates will whittle themselves down inevitably as candidates drop out
But, there's no need at all to restrict the voices of our candidates or assume that some early polling preference should dictate participation.
