I've been out of the loop for awhile... a couple of ?'s and comments
Edited on Fri Mar-02-07 10:53 PM by nickshepDEM
1. I like Obama in 2008. He's a once in a lifetime candidate.

2. Rudy is going to win the Republican nomination and he will be very difficult to beat in the general election. Personally, I think Obama is our best shot vs. Rudy.

3. Has We Clark ruled out a run in 2008? If so, what camp are most of the Clarkies in?

1. If Rudy is the best they got
we will easily defeat them. He has monsters in his closet. I'm for Obama Clark and Edwards.

3. Let me try to catch you up :)
1. Obama's great! Please remember, Dean was a once in a lifetime candidate too.

2. Rudy's not the conservative netroots fav right now, Romney is. For what that's worth.

3. Still waiting on Clark to poop or get off the pot, so to speak. Stay tuned!

Nice to see you again Nick, where did we leave off, Mark Warner for Prez? :hi:

11. I dabled in the Draft John Edwards movement here in Maryland, but
pulled back when Obama announced.

You're right I was very active in the Mark Warner group and Draft Mark Warne for President.

5. p.s.. General Clark still hasn't made an announcement, but..

... he's still using the same line everytime he's asked: "I haven't said I'm not running"

I like Obama a LOT too! Also Richardson.. ... But I'm still hoping General Clark throws his 4-stars into the ring.

13. We have an outstanding slate of Presidential candidates, Nick
Edited on Fri Mar-02-07 11:08 PM by Penndems
It's hard to choose (and much too early to settle on) just one. Senator Obama, former Senator Edwards, Senator Clinton - they're all great.

Don't believe that General Clark has made an announcement yet, but I suspect if he does run, he'll do considerably better than he did last time.

The new President who will be sworn in on January 20, 2009, will not be a Republican. No Rudy Giuliani, no John McCain, no Mike Huckabee, and most certainly no Mitt Romney. This country has put up with eight years of Bush/Cheney, and they're sick of it. The Commander-in-Chief at noon on the aforementioned date will be a Democrat.

BTW, welcome back. :hi:

18. Waiting for Clark
My plan is to hold off on any new camp, even if Wes doesn't run, until the summer. I'll look at everybody, but in the primaries, I won't support anyone who voted for the IWR. In the GE, I will vote Dem.
