One More ABB Election where I will vote for Dem Candidate...
Edited on Sat Mar-03-07 08:30 PM by KoKo01
Then I'm Outta Here! And, I just gave to my Local Dem Party and Sponsored their Valentine's DAY FUNDRAISER...that's been the BIG DEAL here in NC for YEARS.

Also am giving toe "Jefferson/Jackson" BIG FUNDRAISER....(but, I don't have Millions...I come in at below that ...but enough to get on Program List..way down.

I've HAD IT! One MORE TIME...I'll Vote for the CANDIDATE OF PARTY CHOICE! And then...WHAT? Folks would ask WHAT?

I DO NOT KNOW!

I've been around since Kennedy......(a pup, I was ...but watched it ALL! Dems getting trashed...ground into the Dust...and all the while the Repugs grew Stronger and STRONGER...and Stronger

Yeah...I know Martin and Bobby and JFK. I know that Johnson's "Great Society" allowed many to get College Educations who NOW TRASH HIM ...and Liberals are Angry about his "Support and Killing in Vietnam" but forget what his "Great Society" tried to DO for AMERICANS and EDUCATION.

I'm so tired and so worn out. I sat on a Train Station Depot in Ridgefield, Connecticut (BIG REPUG COUNTRY) waiting for Jimmy Carter's Train to Appear...and Carter sent his "incredible Mom, Miss Lilian who in her 80's served in the Peace Corps" and we were HAPPY & PROUD to have her STAND IN FOR her SON!
She was an AMAZING LADY...and I was PROUD TO VOTE FOR HER SON! But her SON didn't last against the RIght WING ATTACKS (that would later come after Clinton).

Soon after Carter's Inauguration his Funder (Burt Lance) got TRASHED BY RW REPUGS and Carter's Presidency started to Implode with the "Energy Crisis" and the Democratic Congress started after him , then in 1978 the Soviets went into Afghanistan and that lead to CARTER CRISIS of the OLYMPIC BOYCOTT which Cost HIM HUGE...with American Athletes being DENIED CHANCE TO COMPETER and that was followed by the HOSTAGE CRISIS where ABC's Ted Koppel DRUMBEATED "IRAN HOSTAGE CRISIS DAY "0000" of this CRISIS.

There's more...Just GOOGLE CARTER PRESIDENCY and the Olympics/Hostage/Burt Lance and you will get"the drift."

I won't go into Clinton "The Hunting of the President" (Joe Conason and Gene Lyons) but you all understand why Dems get NO COVERAGE and NO DEM WILL EVER GET GOOD COVERAGE...until the REPUG SYSTEM OF GLOBILIZATION/CORPORATISM GOES DOWN!

1. Not me. I'll never give up supporting the best candidate
who has a realistic shot of holding the office. Really, I don't find it that hard to do.

2. Hmmm, I haven't voted "ABB" yet.
Solidly behind Gore in '92, didn't like "slick Willie" but when he picked Gore as veep I figured he wasn't all bad...damn sure beat the alternative....

For Gore all the way in 2000. Altho, Bill Bradley would have been great, too.

When it looked like Dean might get it in 2004, I was happy...then I found out about Kerry and was thrilled that he won the nomination.

Nope, not "ABB" at all..the only "ABB" choice in 2004, if you think about it, was Lieberman. Well, for me anyway. Any of the rest would have been WAY better.

But, I am really close to being ABH in 2008. Hopefully the primaries will dispense with that worry and I'll be able to support the Dem nominee just as wholeheartedly as I have the recent nominees.

3. I empathize with you. I took part in some discussions about how to
get citizens to participate....then I realized, you get them to the polls and they vote for the same crap!!! I can't do that! I really believe Americans have to be educated in GLOBALIZATION and the people that support it.....inc. Robert Reich who almost made me PUKE a couple of nights ago, trying to say that all these trade agreements could be improved with a little tinkering around the edges....NOT!

All Americans should read "The Bush Agenda: Invading the World, One Economy at a Time" by Antonia Juhasz to get a history of this all the way back about 50 years. You will see they just did it again in Iraq and the trade agreements with many of the Middle East countries is right on track.....Meanwhile, they are doing it to us RIGHT NOW at home!!! The results are more and more privatization of public services, declining jobs, etc. etc. God Bless Nigeria! They are using their oil income to pay off debts....I heard the spokewoman say that the country had experienced a breakdown of social infrastructure, etc. as a result of the "deal" that had to be made to get any loans.

It is real crime. And, a whole lot of Democrats are on board with all this. Clinton, of course, didn't stop the bleeding and in fact helped the system along. Which is why I do NOT WANT Billary back...they are part of the crowd that will continue on this course. Big time.
