Bush: worst president in history
Cheney: worst VP in history

Never before have I seen a vice president conspire with the presidential staff to send our nation to war on a sovereign, weak nation with no pretense of harming us. Then, the vice-president's office leaks the name of a covert CIA agent to punish her husband for disproving the faulty intelligence given as the rationale for going to war. Then, he actively travels around the country like a pitbull denigrating the opposition party, calling them traitors and trying to convince the public that they are enboldening our enemies, who weren't our enemies until he made them our enemies. Then, both go to military hangars, VFW events, and fund-raising functions telling the public they have made them safer. Meanwhile, the people we have killed in the 10s of thousands have relatives, who daily dedicate their lives to our destruction, including the children and siblings of those killed during our occupation. And, meanwhile our MSM just watches it all go down, like there isn't anything to report on but Anna Nicole and Britney Spears. This is the darkest period in my American life. It's no wonder that other nations hate us.

4. He might be the worst Former Texas Governor.
I am not familiar with the history of that office but I suspect he has that honor.

9. I dunno about that
We're talking Texas politics here and that is something else. Unless you've experienced it first hand, it's hard to really get that it is just that stupid all the time.

12. My point was that he is not a ligitimate president, and
the highest office that he actually WON, was TX governor.

But of course he is the worst holder of the Office of President. But I will NEVER say that he is actually President.

5. There's always a bright spot
We're on the downhill slide.

And Nixon and Pierce, along with a few others, are no doubt clicking their heels together in hell, overjoyed that they move down on the list!

6. This sentence especially
"Never before have I seen a vice president conspire with the presidential staff to send our nation to war on a sovereign, weak nation with no pretense of harming us."

Couldn't be more true. An unprovoked attack against a weak, oil-rich nation-- for reasons that now, quite obviously, have to do with denationalizing its oil and enriching the profits of well-connected oil companies. http://atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/IB28Ak01.html

The brutal war in Iraq is one reason for this conclusion. Then there's also the ruinous policies toward the environment, the arrogant suppression of labor rights and of workers in general. Just flat-out awful.

to impeach this or(THESE)thugs, the evidence is there in front of their faces. Our troops wre not meant to be used to court the pockets of the corporate oil crooks.

10. Very revealing article in Asian Times
Good link. In spite of all the obfuscation, I think we all knew the theft of Iraq's oil was the target from the very get-go. Thousands have died so Big Oil could gain profit-sharing and major control of Iraq's once nationalized oil fields.

If there was any justice, this entire administration and their big oil buds would face an international court for war crimes. syriana

7. What really gauls me is that...
like you said, we just killed thousands and thousands of Iraqi's for no reason and the corporate media supports it.

"Meanwhile, the people we have killed in the 10s of thousands have relatives, who daily dedicate their lives to our destruction, including the children and siblings of those killed during our occupation. And, meanwhile our MSM just watches it all go down, like there isn't anything to report on but Anna Nicole and Britney Spears. "

Exactly!

Dick Cheney has to be the greatest recruiter - ever - for Al Queda, Hezzbolah and the rest. He single handedly put America in more danger than any other person in our history.

Our President has dragged this country to the lowest moral and ethical level of any president in history. He has allowed the Constitution to be trashed, it's citizens to be stripped of their rights and America to be pillaged.

It is the citizens of this country's moral and ethical obligation to impeach these two and to elect officials who will get America back on track.

Now! Before it is too late.

11. Not to mention their arrogance
These thieves know they can do anything and the plebes are powerless to stop them or hold them accountable. Our wishes to bring them to justice is just that..wishes, but no more.

This is why Tony Sopranno or Michael Corleone are popular with many of us. The Mobsters may have killed dozens or even hundreds doing their business, but they generally limited their violence and corruption within some kind of boundaries. But, there are no boundaries for the corporate monsters on the loose now, and they are willing to kill hundreds of thousands to satiate their global lust for wealth and power.
