Rudy Giuliani's son, Andrew, told ABC that he has 'problems' with his father.

Rudy Giuliani's son seems to think his dad would make a better President than he did a father.
"I got my values from my mother," 21-year-old Andrew Giuliani told ABC in an interview quoted on "Good Morning America" yesterday, the same day the Daily News spotlighted the rift between the former mayor and his only son.

"She's a strong influence in my life," Andrew Giuliani said of his mother, Donna Hanover, seemingly drawing a contrast between her and Rudy Giuliani. "She's a strong woman."

Andrew's outspoken comments came after more than a year of frosty relations between the Duke University student and his father. Insiders say Giuliani has increasingly chosen to spend time with third wife Judith Nathan rather than Andrew and daughter Caroline, 18.

Giuliani has missed some of Andrew's big golf tournaments and Caroline's school productions, sources told The News, even while Judith is constantly by his side in his presidential campaign.

"I have problems with my father," Andrew told ABC. "But it doesn't mean he won't make a great President."

While Andrew stressed he still loves his father and said "we are both working on our relationship," his comments are a sharp reminder of the outrageous marital soap opera that accompanied Giuliani's estrangement and divorce from second wife Hanover - which came after he and Nathan made a public show of their growing love affair....

8. A nice story about Donna Hanover

After Rudy publically humiliated her by dating openly while they were still together, including bringing the other woman home while the children were there Donna Hanover survived.

After the divorce Donna re-connected with her high school andcollege sweetheart who never stopped loving her and they are now married.

"Then, last August, she got a phone call from Mr. Oster, her high school and college sweetheart. Mr. Oster, who is also divorced, wondered if she would be attending their 30th reunion at Stanford.

They broke up during their freshman year at Stanford. And when he called last summer, it was the first time the two had spoken since college.

Soon after, he traveled to New York and took her for a cup of coffee, then a long walk in Central Park. ''We talked about our children, our jobs, what had happened in the interim years, the state of the world,'' she recalled. ''There was an immediate re-attraction.

Pulling faces while Dad was being sworn in as Da Mare. Farley's imitation was okay, but hardly a patch on the original.

I wonder what qualities dear old Dad has that Lil Andy thinks he would make a great president? I mean, the fact that Rudy didn't just fall over and pee his pants on September 11 only looks good when he's standing next to the guy who did just that.
