Veep, Race and Gender

If Hillary or Obmama win the nomination, do you think having a "white guy" as veep might be a problem in the general election?

1. Not for me

I do have my litmus test though. The VEEP can't be republican or conservative and I'd rather he not tell me that he is a christian. I'll find that out on my own.

2. Not at all

Why would it be a problem? The sad truth is that having a white guy on either ticket would probably be a prudent move. Provided either of them gets the nod, this election will put either misogynist attitudes or racism to the national test. To add another minority to the ticket, or to have Clinton and Obama on the same ticket would be pretty risky. Not to mention, either one would need to bolster the ticket with someone with some serious foreign policy experience, so to have them together on a ticket isn't a strategically sound move. I like Obama/Clark myself.
