Oh boy, the callers are tearing her a new one.
This is the 'lady' who prefaced her remarks on the Walter Reed hearing yesterday with "It does no good to cast blame..."

Yeah, right lady. Especially when it happened on your (and the rest of the repuke's majority) watch.

1. It's occurred to me that WR is one of the very few issues rethugs and Dems

can agree on. Too bad it took this mess to 'unite' us.

2. it's the democrats fault

it's impossible to fire the bureaucracy's fault. I'm held accountable every two years, no one else is accountable except me. The top person has to set the standards if they want everyone else to do it. It isn't the physical care the people were complaining about. On and on with the excuses.

3. she's spent half her time trying to shift the blame to Dems

and then, after all that, advocates MORE privitization? WTF is she on?

I don't know how this woman got voted into office. She can't seem to keep her eyes focused (quite literally) -- I'd seriously expect to see some whopping numbers if she was drug-tested. And yes, I'm being bitchy.

I hope they DO tear her a new one. No one more deserving on WJ this morning.

4. When somebody says that . . .

When somebody says "It does no good to cast blame," you can bet a dollar to a hole in a donut that means they're in line for at least some of that blame. Salon had an article on lousy conditions at Walter Reed and poor care for returning wounded back in 2005. I think we all remember the scandal and follow-up that ensued then, right?

This has been going on for years, years when the Republicans dominated every branch and phase of government, including the Honorable Ms. Foxx. The Democrats have been in power for eight weeks, and have done more in that time against a dug-in party of Ostriches than the Republicans ever did.

Shame you, Ms. Foxx. The eggs were all stolen while you were guarding the henhouse.

in N.C. then D.C.

and says lower down employees of the govt. can't be fired and that's causing all the problems.

and she draws on her eyebrows - they were a little crooked this morning.

the people who keep electing her (or the machines that keep electing her)must be the dumbest in N.C.
