Question for Minn. DUers: Does Al Franken Have A Shot?
Does Al have a realistic chance of winning it all in Minn.?

1. I think so, though the campaign has barely begun
there are a number of candidates who would be good. If Franken can get by the fear that based on his past career, this run is really a joke, he will be fine. Those who've heard him in person say he just needs to get individuals to here him give a campaign speech.

I think it's very important that he get out to the small towns and hit the cafes and listen to people, not just talk at them. His concern for the military in Iraq and for vets should work well for him all around the state. He's obviously sincere on those issues and a lot of the Minnesota Guard that's been overseas have been coming from the rural areas.
