1. I think Bush may be ready to dump Cheney, so why pardon Cheney's Boy?
Everybody talks about a pardon as a given. And I kinda believe it too.

But knowing that Bush is a vindictive little thing like his Momma Barbara, and assuming that he is pissed big time at Dick Cheney for sullying his "Legacy," I can see him saying NO WAY AM I PARDONING DICK'S BOY.

First it gets Bush in hot water to do so.

Secondly I think Rove Co is ready to throw Cheney under the bus so that they can blame all of the BUSH ADMIN FAILURES on Dick Cheney.

At any rate, If I were Convicted Felon Scooter Libby I am not so sure I would be counting on it.

8. Enjoyed your description of bush.
You do make some good points, but still think he will be pardoned since Libby does know where the bodies are buried.

2. Yes, but not until
early 2009, if * makes it that long. The appeal process will mysteriously take longer than usual, keeping Scooter free until * has a chance to pardon him.

4. No, I don't think he'll dare.
But if I'm wrong, it should be really, really interesting.

the fix has been in from the beginning.

scooter takes the fall, gets the pardon, doesn't see a day inside and is VERY well taken care of now and in the future by their corporate masters...

It's just like one of those mafia movies, eh?

12. how grave a crime must the BushCo regime...
commit before history holds them accountable?

I believe with all we have heard so far, it is but the tip of the iceberg. Somewhere there is a trail from Scooter to lies told from folks higher up; lies which led us into a reckless and immoral war.

When that connect see's the light of day (like Walter Reed rats) the criminals will be exposed.

11. I don't believe chimp will pardon him because it would stink to high heaven and I think would be one
Edited on Tue Mar-06-07 11:15 PM by IsItJustMe
of those unforgivable things that people will always remember. Nobody will ever forget Gerald Ford's pardon to Nixon. It just looks really bad.

Chimp don't care much about facts, but he cares alot about appearances. Notice, in most photo opps of him, he always has that flag behind him.
