Kucinich to Make Keynote Address In Texas Saturday, Speaks to Farm-Labor Party in Minnesota Sunday
CLEVELAND, March 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ohio Congressman and
Democratic Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich will be the keynote
speaker at a statewide gathering of Progressive Democratic groups and
activist organizations in San Antonio, TX on Saturday, March 10. The
following day, Kucinich will be in St. Paul, MN for a meeting with leaders
and members of the Democratic Farm-Labor Party, which endorsed former
Vermont Gov. Howard Dean in the 2004 Presidential campaign.
In San Antonio, Kucinich will deliver a major address at 3 p.m.
Saturday following the annual general meeting of the Progressive Populist
Caucus (PPC) and the Progressive Alliance Conference of Texas (PACT)
statewide meeting. The event will be at Northeast Service Center "Toolyard"
at 10303 Toolyard (south of Wurzbach Parkway, between Perrin Beitel and
Thousand Oaks).
Following his address, he will attend two fundraising events: A
reception at the home of supporter Lori Ramirez, 21215 La Ladera, San
Antonio, beginning at about 4:30 p.m.; and a second event beginning at
about 7:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel, 98 San Jacinto Boulevard,
Austin, hosted by Elliot Kralj, Central Texans for Kucinich.
Sunday, March 11, Kucinich will deliver a 1 p.m. address to the 6th
Congressional District Democratic Farm-Labor Party meeting at the
Carpenter's Hall, 700 Olive Street, St. Paul, Minnesota. Following that,
beginning at about 3 p.m., Kucinich will meet local voters at the Sawadtee
Restaurant, 607 Washington Avenue S., in Minneapolis.
