What is happening with the Congress's "Out of Iraq caucus"'s attempts to get a vote on troop withdrawal before agreeing to sign on with the funding bill.

Will they vote on a timetable for withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq, before taking up the $98 billion in new military spending - as the big compromise that gets the $98 B passed the House without any deadline language in it?
They are ducking the Rep. Jack P. Murtha (D-Pa.) readiness/equipement/training/limited tour bill would restrict the Pentagon in deploying the additional 21,500 combat troops that President Bush plans to send to Iraq. But the anti-war folks are saying that supporting the $98 B money would give them "ownership" of the war along with Bush and the Republicans in Congress.
Or is everything just pre-election posturing until we get to the 08 elections, and this will go the way of Impeachment against Bush & Cheney for - as shown at the Libby trial - the fact that they not only knew that the WMD intelligence was faulty, but they had an organized campaign to stifle opposing points of view. using lying as the tool of choice to get their war going.
