What would be an appropriate punishment for Bush if he were convicted?
Edited on Thu Mar-08-07 12:46 AM by Kablooie
The Death penalty is too kind in my opinion.

I submit that his arms and legs be amputated and he be left to live out the rest of his life in peace.

(He's done that to so many other people, he should experience it himself.)

9. Make him spend the rest of his life...
Working weekdays as a janitor in every VA hospital, changing locations monthly. I want Dub to have to see the faces and hear the painful moans of EVERY wounded soldier and Marine he sent into that War of Lies. Especially those who will never really be well enough to leave a VA med center again. I also want him to have to come face to face with the families of those brave troops, to look each one of them in the eye (if he ever had enough guts to do so; an open question) and be forced to tell every one of them, every time he makes contact with them, "I'm sorry I caused what happened to you".

I'd call it Dub's version of the "drunk driver penalty".

B-)

10. He will be........

..........Locked up in a maximum security prison, in a 9x12 cell, with a backed-up toilet, and cockroaches all over the place. And although Laura will be allowed semi-monthly visits, she'll usually space them out and will be a no show. His only companionship will be with Smirky Dick.. and some dude named "Cooter" that he see's in 5 days a week when he's makes license plates.

Cooter you see is going on his 33rd year, and he's got his eyes on Bush.

Then again.... Smirky Dick is getting a bit jealous..

Punishment would do this man no good- he is morally deficient...
...and truly, honestly WOULD NOT GET why he was being punished.
All that would leave would be vengeance and reparation for those he's hurt.
The multitude and magnitude of his crimes are way too big for justice- at least for any one lifetime, and in this case I feel mercy would be a quick and painless death by lethal injection.
I'm glad I'm not the one making the final dispostion, because I don't feel Bush has earned any mercy.

This leaves reparation. George Bush should be sentenced to doing hands-on stoop labor in LA. He's supposedly strong, in good shape- takes pride in it, so he will be able to work hard at rebuilding the city of New Orleans and other places that have been so badly hit.
He SHOULD NOT BE IN A SUPERVISORY CAPACITY. Any time he's been 'in charge' of something, he's screwed it up, so he needs to be at the very bottom of the chain of command, with absolutely NO way of moving back up. He must never be more than a grunt.

If this doesn't suit his Chimpship, then a lifetime residence in a prison cell at the Hague- without perks or conjugal visits would probably be much more comfortable, I'm sure.

18. Hand him & all his cronies over to the Hague for their war crimes trial
No one is above the law, and no one should be above being tried for war crimes simply because he's an American. They act so brave, having people all over the world snatched and disappeared forever, let the world render judgement on them.
I'll support their verdict.

24. Punishment
That depends on who convicts him. If it is the Senate of the United States in an impeachment trial, the only punishment is removal from office. Once removed from office, he can be indicted and tried on a variety of charges in Federal courts. The punishment will be that which is prescribed by the USC.

25. whatever the punishment there has to be a New Orleans style Walking Band.

For the genocide that Bush has delivered onto the various unique peoples of Louisiana, he should always for the rest of his life have a walking band playing the dirge music behind him as a warning to all that suffering happens because of this man. Never will this band break into an up-tempo number until after the tyrant kicks the bucket.

Once he dies we set up a BBQ pit with a crawfish boil and let anyone throw the shells and bones on his grave and dance them into the soil.

REMEMBER!!!!! Little Dim-Son has pissed off plenty of peoples who are the kind who remember slights for more than one generation, and not just Creoles, Cajuns, Arabs, Chinese, Slavs, or Irish either.
