The greatest sight I see as I drive around Memphis...
Those annoying W stickers.... with the edges scratched off.. and with razor blade marks all over it trying to get it off :) isn't that the best....
they want those W stickers off..
they aren't so proud of him now are they?
but sadly there are many who have multiply NEW stickers on their big ol' suv's or trucks with gun racks on the back :banghead:

but I am seeing more and more stickers with scratches all over them more and more :)

6. If they've parked the car, and the sticker is NOT scratched out, here's what I do:
I leaflet them.

ANY parked cars I happen to see with "w04" or "bush/cheney" or other such dreck on their bumpers or back windows (and there aren't many of 'em around my area anymore) get leafleted.

I found this flyer on the internet maybe two or three years ago. I copied it, added a paragraph, and had 200 copies printed on nice, bright, chickenhawk yellow paper. I leave one of them on the windshield of any such cars.

Feel free...

Dear friend and fellow American:

I know how much you support President Bush and the war effort in Iraq. But I noticed that you haven’t signed up to fight yet. It might be because you are too busy, or maybe you just didn’t know how easy it is to join! I know you probably feel guilty about sending other young men and women off to die in your place, so I am sure you’ll take this opportunity to do the right thing:

Sign up for a tour or two in Iraq today!

You will enable some poor soldier who’s stuck there, exhausted, scared, isolated, frustrated, thirsty, poorly supplied, insufficiently armored, under constant threat, lied to about why he’s there and when he’s going to be released, and yearning to come home – to do just that: come home!

What could possibly be more patriotic?

What better way could there be to prove your devotion to President Bush?

“…And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land. God bless the U.S.A.”

Funny thing - this has actually made some of these cars go away. There was one I saw parked on a local street and I leafleted it. A couple of days later, I saw the same car, parked around the corner from the original spot - evidently trying to hide. I leafleted it again. Since then, I have no longer seen that car around anywhere in the neighborhood.

There was one big-ass white, steroidal pickup truck with big wheels that was plastered with these stickers - and others, too. Those shitty ones that say "these colors don't run!" and "war is the answer" (DO YOU BELIEVE THAT ONE???). I leafleted AND left an angry note also, that read: "War is NOT the answer!!! Is your yellow ribbon buying them MORE BODY ARMOR????" That fucking truck made me mad for a whole day.
