Is it possible the delegates and super delegate could vote differently?

Could they decide at the last minute during the convention to vote for anyone they like at that moment? In a similar way to the states delegates can do during the national elections in thre electoral college?

If so, I say we mount a campaign aimed at the delegates and super delegates to ensure that we pick the Democratic nominee, not the press. What do you think?

4. Elected delegates must vote for who they are committed to

on the first ballot. After that they can switch. Superdelegates can vote for whomever they want.

6. You are correct! Superdelegates are not bound to a candidate

Elected delegates are bound by law to vote for their candidate at least through the first ballot, or until released by the candidate.

Superdelegates are office holders, and they are likely to jump on the winning bandwagon. They are bound to no one.
