How Is It That We've Come This Far With This Plame Outing That There Still Is No Agreement On....

whether she was a NOC or not? I keep hearing it both ways and it can't be both ways. She was either a NOC or not - who is right? This should be relatively easy to settle. Why is there still no agreement on this? Who has the final say so on this?

I guess the same thing can be said about whether Joe Wilson was sent at the behest of Cheney or Valerie Plame. Why can't this be decided once and for all. Wilson was either sent because Cheney wanted info or Wilson was sent because Valerie Plame sent him.

What's the problem here? Shouldn't these both be black or white answers. Not this continuing greying of the facts - to bend the argument to whomever is spinning?

CIA says she was a covert agent. Anyone who says she wasn't is trying to fog the issue.

It has been reliably reported that Wilson went because Cheney was asking questions of the CIA, and that the CIA asked Plame about Wilson. But it wasn't her decision to send him.

These are the facts. There is nothing to decide.

..... the CIA may well be preventing her from status from being made more clear. I also suspect the CIA is stanbding in the way of determining in a clear way who sent Joe Wilson to Niger.

This next notion is PURE speculation: I have to think Wilson wrote a report on his time in Niger. Wouldn't it be great if we knew

3. Where it is now.

I seem to recall him referring at one point to something about her being without official cover, which means NOC.

I doubt it was Ms. Plame's suggestion to send Joe. If the suggestion was, in fact, coming from the OVP.....wouldn't that be interesting? Who and how the decision was made a very important.

Of course, if it was Ms. Plame...so what? She could well have been in a position of authority to make this suggestion.

I think it's just that a certain type of person doesn't want to admit to themselves who the people they voted for are, so they want to believe these things that give themselves an out.
