Poll question: Step right up! Have a ball. Predict the future here:
The hearings are starting.

At the end of this Congress, one of the committee chairmen will be shown to have had more impact than all the others.

Nine of the (potential) heavyweights and the obligatory 'Other' are listed below. Feel free to name anyone else if you think they'll be the final top gun.

1. Where is "All of the Above"? The weight of ALL investigations is what will have the greatest impact
The more dirty laundry is aired the worse the stench around this mis-administration becomes.

4. Gotta go with Waxman
He just has always struck me as tireless and tenacious as hell.

6. I'm not criticizing the poll results, but it's kinda funny ........
.... in the days and weeks before the midterms, John Conyers was cited as *the* reason to 'vote for any Dem' cuz we need the majority to get the committee chairs to get the hearings started.

In recent hours and days, Henry Waxman owns the newz and this poll shows it.

I don't know that there's any particular conclusion to draw from any of that, but I just had to mention it.

7. Just by the nature of Waxman's committee
It should be expected that he will hold the most hearings. The other committee have specific areas to investigate, whereas "government oversight" clearly gives Waxman wide latitude. He's well suited to the job too.

Of course, if impeachment does become a pursuit by Congress, then Conyers will move to the forefront.
