We at Greenpeace have been working for 35 years to let the world know about the destruction of our air, land and seas. But we also look for solutions to these global concerns. There are market solutions that can create dramatic improvements in our environment, especially when these market solutions are partnered with changes in public policy.
Recently, we’ve decided to double our efforts towards solutions, with a priority on energy issues. Greenpeace Solutions will act as a catalyst to accelerate the introduction of groundbreaking environmental technology and know-how to the commercial marketplace. To achieve this, we will work with businesses, inventors and financial institutions. Our goal is to help create leading products and technologies that are affordable and desirable to mainstream consumers.
Greenpeace International transformed the refrigeration industry in Europe and Asia over the past 12 years. We’re finally about to bring this non-HFC refrigerator to North America (after 150 million have sold overseas!).
Now, with a consortium of health and environmental organizations, we are about to introduce a new battery-free solar refrigerator that will provide breakthrough health and environmental benefits.
Most importantly, we’d like you to send in your ideas, inventions, and contacts for us. We’ll follow your ideas and presume you’ll help us as we try to make the American commercial marketplace cleaner and greener.
