Hillary Clinton...Top contributor to DSCC in 2006...by far
See attached...

Hillary...2.1 Million transferred
Ted Kennedy 1.25

Of other Presidential candidates...

Obama...150K
Biden...200K
Dodd...200K

Add this to the numerous campaign fundraisers Hillary attended for other candidates which raised further untold millions...makes her by far the biggest rainmaker in the party...other than the Big Dawg!

1. What does all that money cost? I mean in Senate votes? Or is it just that the doners
want to help?

3. The real question is not how much she gives now
when the contributions can be spotlighted and used for political fodder

but how much did she give in previous years when help was really needed to get Dems elected.

7. You need to change your post to read -top contributor of those running.
And that is about all total that she did contribute including other candidates and committees in 2006. Senator kerry raised and gave away far more than Hillary did altogether. Senator Kerry raised and contributed 13.8 million dollars to the party and candidates in 2006. He gave 1.25 million alone to the DSCC.

Hillary gave 900K more to the DSCC than Kennedy...and I am not including any contributions to other candidates...

Kerry only transferred a bit over 200K to the DSCC

Hillary gave 250K to the DCCC as well
