3. Carville speculates that he'll drop out of the race. Of course, he thinks
Jeb Bush will be the next Pres, so you would have to conclude that Carville is sounding more and more like that crazy old uncle in the nursing home who has occasional bouts of lucidity, and then lapses back into senility.

10. Geez, you'd never know
Edited on Mon Mar-12-07 08:49 PM by huskerlaw
by the amount of airtime that man gets on the Phoenix local nightly news.

Seriously.

I was there a few weeks ago, and they couldn't get enough of the guy. It was :puke:

16. News? In Arizona? On the tube?
Where, pray tell, did you find THAT?

I remember when we did have news on Phoenix TV. They'd put today's network anchors to shame (one even was held at gunpoint on camera and handled like an old pro newsman--which saved his life (Bill Close)).

Seriously--they advertise for reporters here on Monster; qualifications are good grooming and poise--I am NOT joking.

Our local infotainments love the media whores McCain and Sheriff Joe Arpaio (if you don't know who he is, well--you're lucky, IMHO).

17. Well, I use the term "news" very loosely
It was that crap that was on the networks at 10. ;)

18. I get it--the nightly rehearsals for the "E!" network.
I've seen those too--the liplicking for McCain is just rehearsal for slavering over Jennifer Aniston's latest romantic predicament...

But dear God, it makes me ill.

12. I used to really like McCain too! Back when he was a real human!
I don't know if it was his decision or some advisor, but he really screwed himself by attaching himself to Shrub! Sorry JOhn. You're just not the candidate we thought you were!
