This is the only unforgivable sin to GW Bush.

1. I don't think so.
They probably put him up to admitting that.

2. He never admitted making a mistake
He said the usual weasel, "mistakes were made" followed by the obligatory and meaningless "I take full responsibility." In bushworld, "taking responsibility" means nothing because nothing ever happens to you.

Then he went on about how he would work hard to "find out what went wrong" and "fix it," making it sound like he had nothing at all to do with anything.

Then bush says he still has his "full support" because "he's a stand-up guy," whatever that means. Since it's the GOP, it probably is some kind of code for being a "top."

4. “I acknowledge that mistakes were made here.' -- that's Bushco's Mantra

I love the passive voice construction --- Not "I MADE MISTAKES" But "Mistakes were made" as if these mean old mistakes snuck up and assaulted poor Bush or Gonzales.

These guys are crooks of the highest order.

I think there is a 50 50 chance that Gonzales will be out -- seems like Leahy et al are not going to let up on this and GOOD FOR THEM. Bush/Rove/Gonzales actions are low vile despicable and unethical.

OTOH I dread what we will get next. So far the formula hasn't been good.

Ashcroft to Gonzales to ??????
