Fox Attacks: Mary Matalin calls civil rights leaders racists. Also, CBC goes with CNN over FOX.

Think Progress says that the CBC under pressure from activists choose CNN over Fox for their presidential debate. Here is more:

http://thinkprogress.org/2007/03/14/breaking-cbc-chooses-cnn-over-fox/

"Black online activists — led by ColorOfChange.org — partnered with Robert Greenwald’s Fox Attacks to call on the CBC Institute to reject Fox as a partner for their presidential debates. A letter from Color Of Change to activists:

“Fox News is not a ‘fair and balanced’ source of information or political debate, and it has repeatedly proven itself hostile to the interests of Black Americans… Fox on-air personalities and regular guests consistently marginalize Black leaders, culture, and institutions.”

The efforts appear to have paid off. A new release from CNN says it “will partner with the Congressional Black Caucus Political Education and Leadership Institute (CBC Institute) to host a presidential debate among Democratic candidates.”

Perhaps the new Fox Attacks video had something to do with it. I watched the beginning just now....Mary Matalin says civil rights leaders are nothing more than racists. I have not watched the rest yet. Wonder what's coming. She and Mr. Matalin...never know what to expect from them.

Fox Attacks, new video:

Wow, I just watched some more. I was so unaware of just how terrible Fox had been on this issue. The first Fox Attacks was bad, this is infinitely worse.

1. What sane organization would pick faux for anything?
To turn the technical production of your debate over to a republican political action committee makes no sense. faux running the graphics on a democratic debate? Controlling sound levels and lighting? Surely roger doesn't think his detractors are as stupid as his supporters.

2. Honestly it's about time
It's a shame it took this long for Democrats and other non neo-con groups to realize that FOX News is not a legitimate news organization and that by continuing to go on FOX they are legitimizing a propaganda arm of the extreme right wing.

It's time every sensible normal human being treat Fox the same way they regard al-Jazeera.

4. And Mr. Carville Matalin still plays huge role in the party.
I just saw pics of him in Nevada with Bill Clinton while he was there campaigning for his wife. I wondered then if Mary M. was with him. Did you listen to her words carefully? She sounded hateful.

6. She always sounds hateful and that
hate has spilled over on her face.

If I were the clintons and james matalin was campaigning with me I would be thinking of that big ugly elephant in the room.

7. She looks and sounds like a bee stung her lip!
It always seems to me that when Carville is on TV with her, he tones himself waaaaaaaay down. He's afraid of her IMO.

Looks like Carville was with Clinton, and I wonder if wife Mary travels with them as well. Just a thought. The thought of them all together is overwhelming.

5. Cheer up Fox!
You still got your bestest friends in the Republican Party...you can invite them over for cake and nice questions!
