"24" Actor Not Popular With Freepers....lol.
"24" Actor : "I can't handle Living in America anymore"
www.talkshowamerica.com

According to WorldNet Daily, James Cromwell, who plays Jack Bauer's father on "24", told the London Telegraph that he can't stand living in America anymore.

Cromwell told the London Telegraph:

"I can't handle living in the United States of America when I know the last two elections were rigged, and that we were denied our right to vote, where we live in a country where 32 percent of the people vote and even those people's votes don't count, and the people who should really have a stake, kids, don't have any say at all, “ people of color, very little to say, unions, practically nothing any more, we're losing our jobs."

12. Can we make it easy for them to leave?
Publish departure times. Build highways from America to South America or China and forget to build the rest of highways. At the end of the highway there would be a tunnel that would prevent the drivers from seeing the end of the road. Announce that gas stations are available every 100 miles on the overseas highway and they will receive tokens good for gasoline bought on the toll road. But forget to build them. Make sure to make those highways toll roads.

5. Conservative like
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Ditka, and Fred Thompson? When Republicans can't find a candidate, they ALWAYS go for Hollywood. Hypocrites.

7. and when they hear that Kiefer's grandpa headed North America's first socialist government
... which gave Saskatchewan (and then Canada) its Medicare system, and many other things besides ... watch them freak out! (Kiefer and his mom are both still active in speaking up for our social programmes, too.)

More about Tommy Douglas here.

9. Kiefer spoke out in favor of Michael Moore on a Documentary Channel Promo...
Thanking Michael Moore for reviving the Documentary genre in popularity.

Kiefer is still a progressive at heart I believe.

As I've noted before, I don't think that 24 is a total right wing show, and has probably people on both sides of the aisle working together on it.

Happened before when you had a damn hard core progressive J. Michael Straczynski create and direct Babylon 5 TV show that also had current RW talk show host Jerry Doyle on it as Garibaldi, and had also had a quote of both Bush and Rove saying to Babylon 5 folks that it was their favorite show! Straczynski noted after hearing that news that he'd have to go and lay down and rest for a while. He probably didn't think that Bushco would be looking at his show as a recipe for fascism instead of a critique of it!

14. Karl Rove would make an excellent Shadow!
I remember how much those creatures creeped me out, in the first episode where we actually see them onscreen ... I had much the same feeling when I read this article about Karl. (I've never believed his chubby-cheeked aura of "innocence" since then.)

""Before I start," I said, "I would like to know if Karl Rove's sister or wife is in the audience." It wasn't rip-roaringly funny, but it was at least amusing, and when the scattered laughter ended, I talked about Rove.

A week later, in my office in Austin, I received a one-sentence handwritten note.

Sir,

Not a sister or a wife, but my aunt, armed with a tape recorder.

It was from Rove."

10. James Cromwell is an animal rights activist! He stopped eating meat
after he made the movie "Babe" which was a wonderful movie btw. He spoke at the 1996 World Congress for Animals.
