How to Cook a White House Goose
By Nancy Greggs

Start by choosing a really FAT goose – one that’s been over-fed on a steady diet of arrogance, manipulation and deceit. This type of goose is easily snared – being of the mistaken notion that it will never get caught.

Pre-cooking instructions: Allow the bird to lie in order to cover something up. Another lie will follow, in an attempt to cover up the cover-up. There will then be a lie to explain the covering-up of the cover-up that was covered up.

When the goose ends it all by saying what it covered up in the first place was all perfectly legal and ethical, and therefore a cover-up was never necessary in the first place, preparation is complete.

Now let the goose marinate in its own juices for good, long while.

Prepare the Stuffing Ingredients: Tell-tale emails that contradict previously-held positions, testimony under oath, tastiest parts of chickens that have come home to roost – toss vigorously with appropriate utensils (Democratic investigatory and subpoena powers).

SHOVE stuffing into Goose until it is about to burst. Season with salt-in-the-wounds, and grill under excruciatingly low heat for as long as possible.

Then slice, dice, shred, eviscerate.

Recommended Whine: Republicans will provide their own.

Suggested Dessert: Humble Pie.

Serve with GUSTO!

3. Much fun, as always
I'm still surprised at how the US Attorneys issue has caught on with the general public, but happily so. I suspect it's because it is difficult to tie this issue directly to the war on terra, and no one has to worry that, in faulting those at fault, they will somehow be emboldening our enemies.

10. thanks for the early morning laugh!
I always look for your rants, Nance- and you don't disappoint. Now, I don't usually eat goose- I lean towards vegetarianism, but I think that I would have to try some of this feast. It has been so long in the making. But I do hope that the clean up of this feast is not too big of an ordeal.
