with a few people in between. The Oversight Committee's hearing begins at 10:00am today (in about 25 minutes from this OP). Plame starts, a few others testify, and it looks like Toensing ends it....

I cannot wait to see the Democrats rip into Toensing after it becomes clear she has lied over and over again about Plame's status with the CIA. My bet is she leaves the hearing room with her tail between her legs. (Sorry for the visual)

She and Hubby Joe just strike me as two rightwing gadflies.

2. Toensing was the person who wrote the IIPA bill...

that was passed into law. She wrote an editorial in the Washington Post during the Scooter Libby trial, basically giving the whole right-wing talking points that Plame wasn't covert, no underlying crime, and that Libby should never have been charged. IOW, she's a lying piece of garbage.
