3. nice idea, but of course it doesn't work that way
The Constitution provides that the President has the power "by and with the advice and consent" of the Senate, to appoint officers of the US, which would include the AG. What this means in practice of course is that the President comes up with a name and then (in theory) seeks the advice and consent of the Senate regarding the appointment. It doesn't mean that the Senate gets to dictate to the President who the President seeks to appoint.

Its not going to happen, so I wouldn't worry about it. And to be honest, I don't think Fitz would be interested.
