1. They need little tracking devices in them so we can find the bad guys
Hey, if they can put those chips in packages of razor blades and kids jeans...

6. Seems so simple, doesn't it? They'll do it for tracking cheap stuff in stores
and after you buy, for who knows what reason. How about for sensitive data devices that actually have VALUE and seem to be targets?

3. Every damn computer bought or used for campaign work should have
a gps or rf tracking device attached to it.

It is cheap and it will help catch criminals.

4. Little info is helpful: Minnesota Dem HDQTRS

Sunday, March 18, 2007
Laptop stolen from Minnesota's Democratic Headquarters.
The Minnesota Monitor reports:

A laptop computer was stolen Saturday night or early Sunday morning from the office of the Minnesota DFL's Interim Communications Director, Nick Kimball.

Only the laptop was taken, despite other valuables in plain sight nearby.

Follow this link for the story and a photo of the smashed window that gave the thief access to the office.

If this theft sounds familiar, it might be because of the oddly similar crimes reported here.

And the live links there help show the pattern.
