in terms I can understand. What happens after Bush vetos everything???

IF YOU'RE A MOVEON MEMBER, VOTE TO "OPPOSE THE PLAN"-
MORE IMPORTANT: EMAIL YOUR FRIENDS

MoveOn is polling its membership on whether to support or oppose the loophole-ridden Democratic leadership plan that prolongs the Iraq occupation on a slow timeline - slower than what most American voters want. Unfortunately, the MoveOn poll doesn't explain the issues.

Please vote to "Oppose the Plan" in the MoveOn poll, and spread the word to others. Especially to others who may not be aware that progressive Congress members who have carried the antiwar banner on Capitol Hill for years do not approve of the Democratic leadership's plan as currently written.

And please express yourselves to MoveOn - in the comments box -- that they should support Rep. Barbara Lee's efforts to bring an amendment to the floor for a fully-funded, orderly withdrawal of all U.S. troops and military contractors by the end of 2007.

Progressive Democrats of America is a grassroots PAC that works both inside the Democratic Party and outside in movements for peace and justice. Our goal: Extend the victory of Nov. 2006 into a permanent, progressive majority. PDA's advisory board includes six members of Congress and activist leaders such as Tom Hayden, Cindy Sheehan, Medea Benjamin and Rev. Lennox Yearwood. More info: http://pdamerica.org

1. This is the last straw with Moveon.
They are now part of the problem, not the solution.

2. MoveOn.org
has been co-opted by the DC Democrats on the war issue..they have been pretty muzzled lately. They won't call for impeachment either. They are quickly becoming a fundraising arm fo the Democratic Party.

3. Thanks for posting this
I got the email and did it earlier but didn't think to post it. I also voted oppose the plan. If it will certainly be vetoed why not give the intentions of the dems to get us out, are they not serious about this? Enough with the constant compromise, these are lives we are making compromises for and it is for nothing if it will be vetoed under any circumstance. The very least the dems can do is answer to those who voted them in in November.

require their consent to attack Iran. I'd be more angry, but I registered Green after Kerry conceded and said I will stop flipflopping between the two, (dems and greens.)

7. I oppose any "plan" that doesn't end the war crimes in Iraq as soon as possible....
Any "time line" into the future is unacceptable. America out of Iraq NOW!
