I was one of those who's already called in and called attention to his extreme lack of morals and hypocrisy that he was cheating while pillorying Clinton for cheating.

1. And, of course, Gingrich was Speaker and a leader in the drive to impeach

Clinton. If you'll recall, he resigned just before it came out that he was involved in an adulterous relationship with the woman who is now his third wife.

The guy from Weekly Standard seriously said that the Nineties are not the same as today, that we are at war now.

2. A caller is now saying he's not crazy about anybody, Dem or Rep, but

interested in Fred Thompson getting into the race. Anyone know how many times Fred's been married or anything about why he's no longer married to the mother of his grown children? I know he's now married to a much younger woman. Did his first wife die or did he treat her as so many Republicans have treated their first (and often their second ) wives?

Weekly Standard's Continettti (the guest) not claiming that Gingrich wasn't really that involved in the Clinton impeachment.

Do they think we've forgotten everything??? Dream on, eejits!

So far, I haven't heard a single caller speak for Gingrich. Everyone is hitting him hard on his hypocrisy, the GOP's hypocrisy at claiming to be the party of family values.

Ah, too bad, the segment's ending. Earlier, the host read a WaPo editorial saying Gonzales should go. If you can get through, that's another topic du jour.

One woman took C-SPAN for task for never reading e-mails on air before, and then she let Gingrich have it with both barrels.

3. So because bush lied us into war we can commit adultery now?
Or because we are at war we can't commit adultery? Or was it okay to commit adultery in the 90's if you were a republican?

5. I guess that if you were a Republican in the '90s, you

knew we'd be at war now so adultery was OK. How prescient of them.

Did ANYONE say anything favorable about Gingrich? It's hard to keep track when you're on hold to speak and afterwards, when you're posting here, while listening.
