Speaks of his pride in Leahy.

Avoids Tweety's baiting about Hillary.

Chris pokes at him about Obama and Hillary, Dean says Chris you are a piece of work and laughs.

3. Howard was fine, but Matthews is a pathetic asshole.
All of a sudden Tweety is cheering for the fucking war that he lied about.

Fuck him.

How do such mindless twits get television shows of their own.

4. Chris asked him an odd question...got an odd answer.
Matthews: If Karl Rove switched sides and offered himself up to the Democrats to be their fire eater, would you take him?

Dean: We've actually had other operatives do that, and the answer is no. I admire how thorough the Republicans are, but I don't admire their divisiveness and I don't admire their dishonesty.

Wonder who those operatives were? Interesting.

5. Interesting interview. "We need someone who knows how to run things."
Dean's right of course to not comment on any of the candidates. He was particularly cagey on Hillary Clinton and had a good laugh with Tweety over whether deep in his heart he was an Obama guy.

Dean then said "We need someone who knows how to run things."

Who is he talking about? Gore? Richardson?

7. Dean was fine - but Tweety was acting high as a kite.
He usually snipes at Dean, but this time let humor carry the interview.

I thought Dean was smart to get his points across without lowering to Tweety's juvenile behavior.

8. Yes, Tweety sounded odd.
It must be hard to be interviewed when the interviewer is trying to steal the show and be cutesy. Yes, he did sound high and silly.

Dean was gracious, and did not fall for the attempts to pin him down.
