Brilliant Statesman tom delay on NPR this morning
Edited on Tue Mar-20-07 10:01 AM by BOSSHOG
In a nutshell, tom said in the interview that he was a humble christian who only had America and Americans in mind when he was in congress. He has never committed a crime, in fact he would humbly say he is perfect. That anything said bad about him was purely an evil plot by the sodomite liberals amongst us. tom never did anything political and there was no organized plot to get President Clinton. What a Guy! I got to check out his political party. Maybe we can find more like him.

1. And the NPR interviewer, Steve Inske?, barely tried to call him on
any of it. Lots of softballs thrown tom's way.

3. I rather like
Inske's tact. Just let the criminals lie while the tape rolls.

13. That's Inskeep. But, that's how NPR conducts its interviews.
It lets the interview go on and on. It's not a Hardball or Cross-Fire. It's more like Amy Goodman's show on Democracy Now.

2. Delay was Insider-Boy for the Korupt Krony KABAL of republicons
He will earn no Free Pass to Paradise for LYING about it now.

I mean, what would Jesus do? You can bet your bippy it would
not be what Delay is doing: trying to cover up his corruption with lies.

Shut up and crawl back under your rock, Tommy. The true patriots of
America are wise to your lying republicon BS.

5. I'd rather he continue to lie
and lie and lie some more and have them all recorded.

4. What's up with his case?
I tried the Texas Court of Appeals - they are filing motions but I can't get a sense of what's going on - does anyone know?

7. Hot Tub Tom just has the worst luck
Good Christian man like Tom, just can't help trusting people, and he gets mixed up with the likes of Jack Abramoff and suddenly Tom's reputation is shot because of guilt by association. It's just not fair. In a fair world, Tom would be . . . okay, he'd be on the business end of a populist uprising, but luckily for Tom, we don't do that so much in America anymore.

8. And he had more bad luck
during Vietnam when he couldn't serve his country in uniform because there were too many minorities ahead of him in line.

9. Tom on the Today Show this am..
stuttered and stumbled echoing hollow support encouraging Bush's IRW.

He said, "If we leave, we can't WIN!"

A dubious statement indeed, in light of 68% of the American people are against Bush's War!

10. What a patriot?
If I don't go to Nam I won't get killed. Yeah, that Iraq thing is going so well. bush says it'll be a disaster if we get out. Ole george didn't listen when the experts without political agendas told him it would be a disaster if we went in. He turned to those two wacky military strategists wolfowitz and perle while rejecting a four star general with 30+ years experience in, get this, the Army.
