3. this was the kid with ADD?
I wasn't fully awake when I heard about this case. Evidently he had left without his meds? I'm thrilled to see he's been found okay -- but have to wonder about the camp he was at. WTF happened?

4. "And we return now to our coverage of the Anna Nicole paternity drama..."

"Or maybe to the latest freak-out by Britney Spears. Or... wait, this just in! A cat is up a tree in Anytown, Illinois! We go now to live coverage 24/7, only on the Distract Attention Away From the White House Network!"

I'm glad the kid has been found and is safe, but really: was his story worthy of "all day, all the time" coverage by the national media, when so much newsworthy stuff is happening against the Current Regime? Was it worth bumping bad news from Iraq? Sliding polls? The Gonazeles scandal? The recent developments in the government wiretapping violations?

6. No shit!
I'm really happy for the boy and his family, and his friends, but why do I even know about it?

The fascist media sucks!

12. I'd say a human life is important.
He was a missing kid, for crying out loud. Do you know what often happens to missing children? Come on, where's your compassion?

13. I never said he was unimportant
However, I question very much that he was important enough to merit so much coverage by the mainstream media to the exclusion of all else.

14. Could it be in this case that because the Amber Alert has been
fairly successful in finding children during the critical time right after they have gone missing, the news media felt the need to keep the story active? I understand that MSM is obsessive to the point that it's like a big propoganda machine for the Bush administration, but sometimes, maybe it really is because the information can save a life.

11. Thank God
(or whomever you believe in).

I have a 7-year-old boy and we live near these mountains. I know how those parents would feel.

15. I
was really worried. As a parent this must be horrible to be so helpless knowing your child is in dire need.

16. It is great that he was found.
Has it come yet just how come he wandered away from the group? I thought Scouts were big on Buddy System and stuff - - this whole time I have been wondering what made the boy wander off? Anything?
