Why Is Wolf And CNN Making The Dems Look Like The Bad Guys In This AG Scandal?.......
Is it my imagination or is Wolf making the Dems out as the bad guys in this scandal? I'm sick of this treatment the Dems get from MSM.

1. Not just Wolf
CNN is framing this as a partisan issue, purely D's against R's, rather than as an issue that affects the judicial system as a whole. They're reporting that the D's are hoping to finally corner Rove, as though that's all it was about. I was just about to write a letter of complaint.

6. Which is the theme that the Right has been pushing...
... that it's all about the Left/Dem's "obsession" with Karl Rove. Saw Bill Bennett as I was channel surfing the other night and he said he viewed the Left's "obsession" with Rove as similar to "some on the Right's" obsession with Clinton.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

11. I guess the media wants Sunshine Laws to only apply to official
news reporters. That way, they can tell us what they think we need to know.

3. We need our own channel
Edited on Tue Mar-20-07 04:03 PM by zidzi
to get a refreshing slant called "the facts" and fuck woofie and cnn.

Where's that Independent World TV when you need them? They were suppose to come out in 2007 but I can even remember their Initials now to link us up!

EDIT~ I found it..IWT http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_World_Television

"According to their Prospectus, IWT are raising an initial $7 million start-up budget by means of a combination of individual and foundation donors <3>. They subsequently intend to carry out an international fundraising campaign to raise $25 million involving high-profile media events and Internet organizing along the lines of MoveOn.org and the Howard Dean presidential campaign. They plan to begin broadcasting their first program, IWTnews Nightly in 2007.

It's slogans are:

We have the right to see the complexity of things. We have the right to know. Journalism that seeks truth & doesn’t bow to pressure No Corporate Dollars. No Government Funding. No Government Funding. No Commercials. No Strings.

It says that democracy depends on an informed public and courageous press. Yet, on television (where most people get their news), propaganda, opinion and spin are too often reported as fact. In-depth investigative journalism and real debate are seldom heard."

Please Hurry! We need you, IWT!

are going after him because he is so good at what he does.

7. Because he's a bad guy, good guys seem bad to him. They live in an anti-matter
universe, in which the moral compass is inverted.

if none of the big cable news programs are your fancy, turn on either the Food Network or HGTV for some light entertainment......it's worked for me for years.

10. Why Are You Watching That MORON, And Giving Him Viewership?
If you actually are taking the time to ask a question like this, then either you NEVER read the boards here at DU during the daytime, or you NEVER watch his show.

If you did either of those things, you would know his political leanings, and won't be surprised when he sides with the conservatives EVERY TIME.

12. Because CNN does what it told.
When the WH says say this that's what they report, they must get the fax of the script because they seem to follow it word for word.

15. Also, because no Top DEMS with media access ever call Wolf, etc on bias, to thier face.
And then proceed to list examples where they presented false information to his viewers that helped Bush or hurt Democrats. Demanding full retractions, or holding up a DVD of the filmed lying on camera and "daring" them to show it to their audience would also be effective theater. "Fine Then we will just put these clips up on the DNC website since you refuse to retract..."

Or, at the least, go on friendly media (AAR, The Daily Show or newspaper Op-Ed) and make the same charges.

This is a big problem with me- if media bias exists, and no DEMS are making the case that it does, then I see two problems, not one.
