In other words - were the firings successful in stopping any of the criminal Repug senators/congressmen from being indicted or prosecuted? If so - who - and what is their current status?

1. I don't know, but Abramoff and co. sure dropped

off the radar. Where are all the investigations into his revelations per his plea bargain? And the other investigations per his buddies who were talking to get themselves off the hook.

Or are the Cunningham investigations another batch of investigations that have suddenly fallen off the radar?

3. I suspect that the other investigations related to the Cunnigham case are now gathering dust

since Carol Lam was fired as the US Atty in the San Diego area. She was looking into issues with other CA rethug congresscritters who had dealings with the same folks that bribed Cunningham.
